Conclave Movie

Well I'm off to see the new movie Conclave tonight. When I was first invited to go and see this I turned the offer down as I thought it sounds a bit tedious, probably like the real process is. And at 2 hours I thought it is probably longer than it needs to be - one of those films with too much padding. However it has a rating of 7.4 on IMDB which is pretty good, and I've had a tiring week so it will be nice to site and be entertained for a couple of hours.

And it's in a strange little local cinema rather than a large chain multiscreen. One of those rare survivors from the days before everyone had a TV! I love that it looks like a seedy little porn cinema too! I'm expecting lots of men sitting at the back in long raincoats with their hands firmly in their pockets lol. Although given the subject matter of the film that is slightly disturbing... :)

Anyway, it's billed as a thriller, not the drawn out drama-documentary I first imagined so worth a punt as they say.

In other news I've got myself a long Shockspot fuckmachine session 'booked in ' for tomorrow night so that will probably be the highlight of my weekend. I must work out how to video that one day - it's not as easy as one might imagine, given the noise, etc. I need a friendly local who can donate a space for it.

And finally, I'm loving my new all-electric car! As a life-long 'petrol head' I was very unsure about going electric but it was too good a deal to miss and in a few years it will be pretty much compulsory, unless we all jump straight to hydrogen or some as yet undeveloped solution. Bit it's so nice to drive - super quiet and smooth on the take off, accelerates with no fuss at all and, so far, I have managed to avoid the much spoken of 'range anxiety'. It's got a roughly 300 mile range so I've managed to make all my journeys so far as out and back on the single charge. Not had to use a public charge point yet. (So it's costing me a meagre 2 pence per mile so far). And I don't miss filling up at gas stations - all that queuing, noise, smell, snaking around the junk food and weekly shoppers buying lottery scratch cards when all you need to do is pay for fuel. Who does their weekly shopping in a gas station anyway??

Well, that's me for the moment. Hope you all have something nice to look forward to this weekend. Stay safe, Alessia xxx
