Started the day yesterday with a warning from my website host that I was moving towards my 100 page limit - which I didn't even know was a thing. (I was actually only at 50 pages out of the 100) However, they recommended moving some pages to 'dynamic pages' as you can have all pages of a similar format, like my galleries, based on a single dynamic page template and you can then have unlimited dynamic pages.
Sounds simple! Well, I thought I'd better give it a go before I run out of room and make it an even bigger job. So I watched a tutorial, got bored and decided to just go for it.
I managed to totally crash half my galleries at various points, had to restore my whole site from scratch twice and ripped out large chunks of hair trying to understand why stuff just stopped working. Anyway, all's well that ends well, as they say. I now have half my galleries based on a dynamic template and will work on the other half asap so I should now have more than enough space for the recent and future galleries. :)
