10k Road Race this morning

Well it's finally arrived. Although to be fair I've not been waiting long as I only entered this on Tuesday night. Scanning the local running websites I found this interesting 10k race through one of the prettier Cheshire villages around here. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️Starting off in the village centre and then weaving around the area on a mixture of road, trails and pathways. Not a fully road-closed race, which will make it interesting. Dodging those half-asleep grannies on their way to morning service! Hoping to be first in my age category although a quick scan of last years results show a potential fly in the ointment there - a pretty quick guy from a nearby running club who won the category last year is in it again. Maybe he'll be hit by one of those grannies lol. 😂 Didn't sleep very well last night so making up for it with extra coffee this morning.

So pleased I'm off work this week, time to get the website in order (again!) and meet some friends. Hoping to get a photo shoot done and meet for some fun.

Superb 'olde worlde' start location for today's run. Can't get prettier. xxx
