Stiff legs!

Wow, that was tough! I did a 10k race on Sunday which has left me seriously stiff. It was a real killer, basically 5k uphill followed by 5k downhill. You'd think that evens itself out but far from it - the uphill sections are the killer. I was even reduced to walking a couple of time, although only for 10 or 15 seconds, just enough time to catch my breath again. You don't actually lose much time as your running pace up a steep hill isn't much faster than walking anyway and it gives you a mental rest too.

Time to put my feet up for a well earned rest!
